Reflection

Leaning on our own understanding feels natural. We are rational people. We weigh options, analyze risks, plan outcomes. And yet Scripture warns us that our understanding — however sharp — has limits. Trust is not irrational. It's the decision to act on what you know about God's character rather than on what you can see from where you're standing. The path doesn't always straighten immediately. But submission is the posture that keeps you moving.
